Is it wise for me to charge my EV a lot on a fast charger ?2024-04-04T13:17:06+02:00

We would advise against doing so. Frequently charging your car at a fast charger has a major impact on the battery because it constantly has to go in the “red”. This also means that you will reduce the service life of your battery over time. Of course you can use a fast charger but try to keep it to a minimum.

So, if you were to go on holidays, fast charging your car will not be a problem whatsoever!

I want to travel to the south with my EV, can I do so without suffering from charge anxiety?2024-04-04T13:17:48+02:00

Of course you can, but it will take a little organising before you set off on your travels. Plan your itinerary beforehand along roads with plenty of charging points (via an app). Double- check that you can use your charge card all over Europe to avoid any unpleasant surprises. Be mindful of the distance you can travel on a full charge.

Tip: try to make sure that the battery remains at a charge of between 20 to 80 % so that you don’t have to fast charge for more than 15-30 min.

Can my power grid handle charging an EV?2024-04-04T13:18:53+02:00

Absolutely! Depending on the power that comes into your home, your car will charge slower or faster. We would advise you to discuss this with your electrician.
